The College has a good collection of books in the library on all subjects, taught in the college as well as on related subjects. The college library is comprised with Central Library, Seminar Library, Staff-room Library and the Departmental Library of Geography and Botany. Access to the Central Library is open to all categories of users – students, teachers, and non-teching staff. But only the Honours students and the teachers can borrow books from the Seminar Library. Apart from regular issue, the students can also avail the facility of long term loan from the UGC Book Bank. There is also a gift collection named ‘Prafulla chandra Ray Text Book Library‘.
Library special card:
Rs.100/- (50% refundable). This card is issued to the regular students after filing up University Examination Form. Books issued against this card are to be returned within seven days after completion of the examination , faling which a fine will be imposed at the discretion of the Authority from the date of issue of the book.
U.G.C. Book Bank:
Student may obtain books on loan basis from University Grants Commission Book Bank returnable within 7 days from the date of completion of their final examination.
