An Admission Test will be held for English Honours on the 17^th of June, 2013, Monday,  from  7:30 A.M. to  9 A.M.

Those who intend to appear in the Admission Test for English Honours Course must take note :

(i) Full Marks for Admission test will be 50.

(ii) The applicant will have to write an Essay on a topic connected to literature. Though the answer must be compact, it should also be rich in ideas.(20marks)

(iii) A poem will be given and the Student will have to answer questions on it. Attention should be given to the theme, the images and the use of language.(20 marks)

(iv) Words will be given and the student will have to make sentences with the noun, verb, adjective or adverbial form of that word.(5 x 2 = 10 marks)
